Donations for Dreams, Dance, and Diversity

07.05.2024Commitment

The proceeds from Roskilde Festival are donated in full to causes that make a huge difference for children and young people. See here where the money you helped raise is now making a huge difference.

This week, members of the Roskilde Festival Charity Society met for their annual general meeting.

There, they looked back on the past festival season. They approved an account that showed that last year's Roskilde Festival resulted in a financial surplus of approximately nine million Danish Kroner.

The proceeds are donated in full to charitable purposes.

And the members also reviewed all the donations that the Roskilde Festival Charity Society has allocated throughout 2023.

A total of 39 donations have been made!

The recipients are associations and organizations that are engaged in some of today's major agendas - the climate and biodiversity crisis, mental health, diversity, and representation in the arts.

And they particularly make a huge difference to the well-being and dreams of children and young people.

You're a Hero

It's thanks to you and thousands of others that Roskilde Festival can donate its proceeds to charity.

When you party or volunteer at Roskilde Festival, you're actually a hero.

Didn’t you already know that?

Or do you know someone who doesn’t realize the heroic role you play when you rock out in front of Orange Stage or at the campsite?

Then we have the video that explains it all:
