A cornucopia of activities

Roskilde Festival was much more than music. Even though the camping areas opened four day before the gates to the Festival Site were unlocked, there was no reason to be bored.

There were skating ramps, cinema, swimming lake and music at Pavilion Junior. And at the many agoras you found funny, unusual and exciting activities – right from the wild bodily expression to lazy indolence.

Below, you can read about how the festival guests passed time.

”I’ll see you at the folk high school”
In a few years Roskilde folk high school will open the doors and welcome students to a school which contains spot on Roskilde Festival spirit.
Garbage with gratitude
Let your dirty sleeping bag come to its own right after Roskilde Festival. If you donate it to the homeless when you leave, it will be washed and sent off to someone in need.

Red Warszawa rocked the camping area
”Bjarne Riis has taken an injection full of hash”, bawled a black-clad audience along to the EPO-song, when Red Warszawa gave an exclusive concert near Agora G Saturday afternoon.
Naked Run caught up
The Naked Run at Roskilde Festival is a recurrent attraction which Orange Press had the great pleasure to follow close up. It’s not something to miss.
Washing Feet with Compassion
Birgitte rubs Jonathan’s feet, and slowly the dirt comes off. When his feet are clean, he can enter the Cathedral of Silence.
Stimulants and molecules
On Wednesday morning we explored different stimulant’s composition and especially their effect. Our guide was Johan Olsen, who had high spirits – and a high readability index.
We will cut anything and anywhere
On the grass by Agora B, two fake hairdressers are cutting and trimming greasy tresses and hairy chests on brave festival guests.
Sexpress yourself
In the Sex & Society stand at Agora L, you can throw with diaphragms, get tips on sex in tents or take a ride through the sexual transformer.
Burning Panda changes the world
Hug the panda and give your opinion on the state of nature. ‘World Wide Fund for Nature’ has collected statements on Roskilde ’08 – and they will be handed over to the politicians on the climate summit next year in Denmark.
