A cornucopia of activities

Roskilde Festival was much more than music. Even though the camping areas opened four day before the gates to the Festival Site were unlocked, there was no reason to be bored.

There were skating ramps, cinema, swimming lake and music at Pavilion Junior. And at the many agoras you found funny, unusual and exciting activities – right from the wild bodily expression to lazy indolence.

Below, you can read about how the festival guests passed time.

Unfair Ludo with Human Pieces
A bubbling summer spirit is spreading at the E Agora. The sun is shining. And the huge human Ludo board is being unfurled.
Record tomorrows hit – for free
In the YourSpace-tent you can go into the studio for free and record a song with your band. Waking Life from Copenhagen took advantage of that.
Symbolic Bracelets
As part of the Color Orange campaign, festival guests can make their own orange bracelets, and in that way show their support for the fight for human rights in China.
Skating in sunshine
The skating rink at agora M is one of the great festival attractions this year. It forms a gigantic puzzle of plastic plates, playful festival participants and a lot of skates.
Freshly caught fish for the camp
People with healthy interests like fishing can have their fill of it at the fishing lake, which can be found at Agora J Clean & Silent.
More music – less trash
You can help bring more music to Roskilde Festival. That is the message in this year's garbage campaign ”Less Trash, More Music”.
A concern for animals
Right between colourful scarves and ethnic jewellery is a stand with attitude. For the fifth year in a row, Anima – the animal welfare organisation – is found at Roskilde Festival.
SelfConstruction
In Agora C you can make your own constructions with hammer and saw. Together with other festival guests you create a monument.
