Build your own camp-blaster

Saturday 15th of June between at 12-15:00pm at FabLab Denmark in Næstved.

Do you need an amplifier for your guitar or does your camp need a stereo? If so, you can get help building a camp-blaster that will work with an electric guitar as well as with your smartphone or MP3 player

Roskilde Festival, Fablab Denmark and Audiocase.dk invite you to a workshop where you can build a battery driven speaker.

The workshop takes place at FabLab Denmark, Maglemølle 31 in Næstved on Saturday the 15th of June at 12-15:00pm.

The ’Build your own camp-blaster’-workshop is part of a whole range of ’DIY-rockstar-workshops’ where you can also build your own guitar or pimp your outfit. The workshops are a taste of the available activities at this year’s Roskilde Festival in the MakerSpace in Dream City.

At this workshop, you can get to know and use CNC-cutters and circular saws and you can solder and gather the cabinet for the camp-blaster. Naturally, there will also be given sound checks and you will have the possibility to experiment with decorating the speaker with laser engraving.

What you might not have time for at the workshop, you can finish at Roskilde Festival. If you begin building at the workshop, you can be sure to have a wicked speaker for your camp.

The goal is to make at least 100 camp-blasters that can then be gathered into one massive camp-blaster at the festival. It will be a sound like no other!

You don’t need to be technically skilled - all you need is to be up for it. Enthusiastic trainers will be present to give you a thorough introduction. The price is approximately 250 kr. For the electrical components and the battery.
