The paths between the tents are clean and tidy. The grass is green and it smells of summer. The camping chairs still have four legs and the empty beer cans and the food packaging from yesterday’s dinner is sorted in different trash bags.
Does this sound like your kind of festival? Then put up your tent in a Clean Area in either area B, E, K, J or M. (see map)
The Clean Areas are for those who value camping and partying in a clean and tidy environment, and to have green grass instead of broken glass beneath their feet. The Clean Areas are for you, if you prefer to dispose of your waste instead of sitting in it.
Silent and Clean in area J
How about a good night's sleep as well? Camping area J is once again the festival's Silent and Clean area. Here you can live clean, green and peaceful. Have fun at day and sleep at night without being disturbed by a loud all night party in the neighbour camp.
This year we will have special waste disposal sites (Trashpoints) placed at the Clean Areas. Here you can leave your trash and then we will make sure that it gets collected.
Green Camps are camps that have chosen to take responsibility for the waste collection in a creative and involving way. Green Camps can be found spread out through the Clean Areas, B, E, K, J and M. The Green Camps will have a fun and playful focus on waste collection. If you meet a Green Camp you should join the game and contribute to the good energy while preserving the Roskilde Festival and its resources. Read more on how to become a Green Camp.
We are looking forward to welcome you in the Clean Areas and together with you make Roskilde Festival a better and cleaner place.
