Since 2002 Refund has been collected at Roskilde Festival to ensure that empty cans and bottles will be recycled.

This year Refund is handled by CARE Danmark, which is an independent section of CARE International, one of the largest relief and development non-governmental organization in the world.

CARE is helping people in Africa and Asia through long-term development based on principles about self-help and prevention. CARE helps before the catastrophe strikes, and creates long-term solutions together with the poorest people in the world.

The Refund at Roskilde Festival makes a great difference for CARE and their work.

By donating your Refund to CARE you support CARE’s work with CARE’s Village Savings and Loans Associations. CARE has great success with CARE’s Village Savings and Loans Associations, which gives poor people the opportunity to save, borrow and invest money. Thousands of people have already helped themselves and their families to achieve a better life through CARE’s Village Savings and Loans Associations.
