Roskilde Festival Arts & Creation
The 2013 Roskilde Festival Arts & Creation programme is more involving and playful than ever. This means art that catalyze great and once in a lifetime experiences, and art that involves you and wants you to participate. Roskilde Festival is not a white museum. It’s a giant collective playground for innovation and creativity. Here you can play, if you dare to join in.
The arts programme features art of high national and international quality that spreads from the underground scene, over rising stars to established, cutting edge artists.
The 2013 programme has - through design, architecture, installations and performances - focus on social and involving aspects, because we want to celebrate our guests' always collective and open minds. And hopefully at the same time inspire you to consider the surrounding world.
The goal of Arts & Creation is to give our audience an extraordinary experience, but also to create social awareness and a sense of community through play - something art makes an excellent instrument for.
We will soon reveal some of the fantastic artists we have lined up for you this year, but you can already now read about the different cities and zones here.
Stay tuned!
