AOIFE O’DONOVAN (US)

After a decade’s worth of touring the dusty highways as Crooked Still’s lead singer, Aoife O’Donovan has finally found the space and time to record her solo debut Fossils.

The female singer/songwriter with the soft voice is your right choice if you’re into earthbound, rustic and accessible folk.

Virtuoso refinement, genre leaps and general mischief are to be expected in this field of the genre. Just take a look at her list of collaborators: Alison Krauss, Punch Brothers’ Chris Thile and classical cellist Yo-Yo Ma are among the bunch.

Don’t miss Aoife O’Donovan; her name is actually pronounced ‘ee-fuh’.

Band schedule is ready in May

Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.

We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
