They jumped on the rock history train back in 2006. In 2014, Arctic Monkeys return to Orange Stage as one of the most beloved and requested rock bands of today. On their recent album AM the British lads have perfected their flirt with American cactus rock.

Arctic Monkeys have become a grown-up band with heavy balls and the guts to experiment with genres such as R&B and hip hop. Yet, you also still find tales of longing, sweaty armpits and romantic quests reminiscent of the Sheffield night life.

Arctic Monkeys are in great demand among Roskilde Festival’s participants; the British band made it to top 3 when we recently asked the audience about their biggest music wishes for the next festival.

Band schedule is ready in May

Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.

We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
