”Blåsar Vekk” (blowing away), Bendik call one of their tunes. And the title actually fits this band's alternative pop.

The three Norwegians hover in the same air space as Mew and fellow Norwegians Lukestar, admiring the view.

Bendik are keen on combining the grandiose with icy harmonies, inducing the sensation of a chilly Northern wind.

At the same time, Bendik differ from their Scandinavian contemporaries, applying a more electronic touch. Silje Hastensen’s powerful vocals are mostly surrounded by windswept, frostbitten synths.
