Chris Douglas has existed in the dark outer reaches of electronic music for 20 years. His music is abstract and labyrinthine but also forward-gazing and quite often astoundingly beautiful.

Throughout a long career using different monikers (among others O.S.T., Dalglish and Rook Vallade), the Berlin resident, nomadic pioneer has explored – and partially developed – genres like IDM, dance-hostile techno and dark ambient.

Dalglish takes us on a journey through a sinister borderland of syncopated rhythms and industrial darkness. The nightmarish soundtrack skitters and leaps chaotically like evil insects in the underground where the sunlight is unable to penetrate.
