DAVID LINDLEY (US)
Thursday 04.07.13 - 20:00 - Gloria
Playing gigs with Leonard Cohen, Crosby & Co., Dolly Parton and not least Jackson Browne and Warren Zevon has made David Lindley a legend among musicians. The roguish American virtuoso and collector of instruments has had a remarkable solo career on the sideline. In the late 60s he formed Kaleidoscope, which is easily described as the first western world music band in history. Today this unique character combines rock, reggae and much more in his own crooked mixture – played on an arsenal of string instruments collected since the very beginning of his more than 45 year long career.
Band schedule is ready in May
Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.
We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
