August Fenger is part of the infamous crew surrounding the Danish label Cheff Records, and he's a central figure on the Copenhagen hip hop scene. A Danish music magazine has even called Eloq the Danish capital's own J Dilla.

The Copenhagen producer and DJ has a passion for dusty synths, playstation sounds, helium voices and cut-up drum samples. All in one brew, which gives the challenging fusion of edgy bass music and hip hop rhythms – also known as wonky – a Copenhagen twist.
