FIRST AID KIT (SE)

Saturday 07.07.12 - 15:00 - Odeon

With their American-sounding country folk, First Aid Kit have come far since their last visit at Roskilde Festival in 2009.

The Söderberg sisters have recorded their latest album The Lion's Roar in Nebraska where Mr. Bright Eyes, Conor Oberst, was so overawed by the girls' vocal harmonies and stage presence that he ended up doing a cameo on the album.

Despite the success and the new experience, the charm and innocence in the two forest elves' music remain intact. With melodic tunes and enchanting voices, the duo sings about the upcoming adulthood with both sweetness and the melancholy inherent in country music.

Here is comfort, support and gilt-edged songs for souls in need.

Label: Wichita / Target Distribution

Band schedule is ready in May

Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.

We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
