Charlie Yin enters the electronic scene in great style with Giraffage.

The American's soothing music laps comfortably in a daze of daydreams and melancholy. With warm synthesizers he conjures saltwater-hazy memories of summer holidays in an impressionistic sound as if the music was recorded on analogue cassette tapes years before the young multi-instrumentalist and producer's date of birth.

At the same time, the solar-heated, electronic tracks carry enough challenging rhythms and quirky details, making this music for both ears, nostalgia and the mind.
