until Roskilde Festival 2014 - 29 June to 6 July

Saturday 06.07.13 - 01:30 - Pavilion

World Music is the title of Goat’s much-hyped and critically acclaimed debut album from 2012. And the title is a clear indication of what you can expect from this masked, mysterious giant orchestra.

The Swedes play psychedelic rock that sounds as if it were cooked in equal parts bong water, Swedish wild strawberries and African extracts.

With electric guitar, accordion, organ and a well-developed sense of funk and trance, Goat invites us on a wild ride towards a gaudy parallel world. A magical place filled with bright colours, where musical genres have evaporated, and hips just keep on wiggling.

Take the goat by the horns and dance.

Label: Stranded / import

Funky trance rock with an African flavour

Band schedule is ready in May

Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.

We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
