On rare occassions, Roskilde Festival introduces the same artist two years in a row. Sometimes, however, we are happily forced to make exceptions.

Janelle Monáe's Roskilde debut in a packed Cosmopol tent last year was a dizzying triumph, which demonstrated how memorable Roskilde history is written year after year. We can hardly wait to reexperience this great talent.

Janelle Monáe combines futuristic soul, R&B, hip hop and rock in a show, which is a treat for both androids, dancing girls and music-snobbish lads.

In 2012 it will be even bigger and with a new batch of songs loaded in the spaceship.
