JASON ISBELL & THE 400 UNIT (US)

Rootsy singer-songwriter Jason Isbell has emerged triumphantly with a new album called Southeastern. On this widely praised album, the former Drive-By Truckers member has found greater room for his songs to breathe and ache.

The acoustic-based, intimate songs deal with heartbreak and tell stories of complicated men in the vein of troubled country music.

In a live setting this amazing talent and his red-hot backing band The 400 Unit also deliver rocking, clear-blue-sky moments.

Amanda Shires – fiddle player, backing vocalist and newly wedded wife – lends a feminine touch to what already sounds like future classics.

Band schedule is ready in May

Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.

We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
