Drum, bass and saxophone distorted beyond recognition is not the most obvious setup for dystopian rock'n'roll. Nevertheless, Kriget creates a very distinct expression due to this rather unusual instrumental trio.

The three Swedes' mechanical, pared-down but also playful free-form jazz often have references to Germans such as Peter Brötzmann and D.A.F.

But one of the best things about this music is its immediacy. Kriget can deliver a thunderclap that will shake your head. Get ready for some instrumental future music that is rawer and more to the bone than an x-ray.
