With the tongue in her cheek and a dose of genuine poetry mixed in her pen, Marie Key has established herself as one of the most original songwriters and lyricists in Denmark. On stage she also knows how to balance tears and laughter on a knife-edge.

Her first albums had a predominantly acoustic expression. On the last two albums, she has developed a more electronic sound that has catapulted the curly head towards the pink universe of pop and the radio.

Marie Key is a refreshing and different acquaintance. Both when she dives into simple and heavy themes.
