After having been brought up in the restriction-rich GDR, the partnership Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary constantly tear down mental Berlin walls with their bubbly musical alchemy consisting of equal amounts of techno, hip hop, IDM, UK bass, crunk and countless other genres.

The borderline schizophrenic, almost epilepsy-inducing style changes and the totally crazy party are drawn with bright-coloured spray paint across the modus operandi of Modeselektor.

A concert with these two Germans is a life-affirming celebration of the inexhaustible potential of music and the shudder of the body when a really deep bass thunders.
