With a number of challenging releases – most recently Replica, based on samples from old TV ads – Daniel Lopatin has placed his curious nickname centrally on the experimental, progressive electronica scene.

Using samples, effects, loops and synths, the Brooklyn-based composer/producer flips, bends, pushes and curls his piled-up musical structures out of shape and focus until cosmos and chaos blend together.
