ROVER (FR)Friday 06.07.12 - 19:00 - Gloria Timothée Régnier’s passport may be French but his history indicates why his stage name “Rover” isn’t a coincidence. Returned from Lebanon, Rover spent a whole stormy winter, like another Bon Iver, writing and instrumentating songs in a dilapidated house. Rover has already mesmerised fans of lyrical pop in France with his fantastic voice, which has been compared to Anthony Hegarty’s. When singing, the well-travelled Frenchman’s English is practically flawless and can be traced back to his childhood years in New York. Rover’s first full album is on its way in 2012.
