With a grimy mix of electro, rap, South African house and dystopian bass music –genreless 'township tech' he calls it himself – this dark hip hop prince will soon become a new name on the global guerilla pop scene, led especially by M.I.A.

Spoek Mathambo is claustrophobic but danceable midnight music, filled with robotic beats and rough ghetto sounds.
