Through their basic combination of beauty-insulting guitar playing and minimalistic drumming, Talk Normal revive New York as the capital of musical noise as it once was in the early 80s under the banner of no wave.

The Brooklyn duo – consisting of Sarah Register on guitar and Andrya Ambro on drums – rips through songs that sparkle with dissonance, energy and wildness.

Being completely non-dogmatic and cool, Talk Normal sets a noisy agenda that once more makes jarring guitars sound fresh, frothing and dangerous.
