British band The Vaccines have marched straight into the hearts of both the music press and audience.

The formula behind their music is a tried and tested one, but nonetheless very effective: catchy rock that just about contains the quintessence of every band of quality ever to grace the loudspeakers of any Ramones-poster-decorated teenage room.

The band has in a disarmingly self-ironic manner called their debut album What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? The answer to their question is: great things, judging from the many hits on the album. These Brits are sure to meet the expectations on their follow-up album, due later this year.
