until Roskilde Festival 2014 - 29 June to 6 July

Things are happening hip hop-wise for New York's largest and most colourful district Queens in recent years.

World's Fair have named themselves after the world exhibition that bathed the whole city in (extra) glitter in 1964. This collective wants to do the same for Queens in 2014.

The first step on the way is Bastards Of The Party – in every conceivable way a party album as the title suggests. Fronted by six very different MCs, World's Fair is a motley bag of treats with both sweet, sour and salty tastes.

Roskilde Festival has also documented New York's resurgence as a hip hop city with Flatbush Zombies, Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$ and A$AP Rocky.

Mission: Queens back on the hip hop map
Band schedule is ready in May

Roskilde Festival releases the time schedule in May, if everything works out at least somewhat according to plan.

We don’t do it until then to make the best schedule possible for our audience. When we, for various reasons, are forced to make changes late in the process, we have a better chance at putting together a programme that considers both the spreading of genres, the performer's touring plans and safety at the festival.
