If you prefer to sleep in your own caravan, we have just the area for you.

Again this year Roskilde Festival arranges a special area for guests who wish to spend the night in their campers, mobile homes, etc.

No special wristband is required to get access to caravan camping. Everyone with a regular festival wristband has access, so you're welcome to invite other festival guests on a visit. You are also welcome to share your caravan with others.

Price: DKK 365 (the price is per. vehicle and includes an unlimited number of residents, but they must have their own festival tickets)

Remember to bring your print@home ticket, which you will have to present upon arrival to the area.

More about the caravan area
You can get access to caravan camping which is located east of Køgevej, from Saturday 29 June 2013 at 18:00. You can see where the area is located on the map.

Upon arrival drive directly to the area. It is not necessary to exchange the ticket to a festival wristband first. After you have settled, please go exchange your ticket to a festival wristband.

If you:

• arrive in a camper, a caravan, a mobile home or a camping trailer that is registered as such, you are permitted immediate access to the caravan area since your vehicle abides by the laws for official camping vehicles.

• arrive in a van that has been fitted as a camper and is equipped with permanent fire extinguisher you will gain access to the area. It is important that the vehicle is closed and has fixed walls.

It is allowed to pitch one awning to each caravan. Alternatively you can bring a small tent of similar size.

You will be denied access to the area if you arrive in a van in which nothing special has been done to meet the requirements of a camper (e.g. fire extinguishers etc.).

On arrival

On arrival, your vehicle needs to be approved. If your vehicle is rejected, it will be directed to the parking area, and the passengers are requested to camp at the festival’s campsite (for tents). Please note that any kind of accommodation at the parking area is prohibited.

When a vehicle is approved and granted access to the caravan area, guests must follow the service guards’ parking instructions.

If you arrive with a camper or a camping trailer, you must return your car to the parking area after discharge. Your car will be marked with a sticker indicating that the vehicle has access to the area.

The same rules apply for the caravan area as in any other accommodation area: it is forbidden to use any kind of open fire, including candles, oil lamps or the like. However, we allow use of fixed gas installations in caravans and autocampers. You’re not allowed to bring generators.
