Agora is a term you will run in to as soon as you arrive at Roskilde Festival. So therefore it is best to familiarise yourself with the concept before you reveal yourself as a rookie by asking “agora, what?”.

The agoras are a kind of meeting place located around at the campsite, and they are all marked with a letter to inform you which area you are in. Most of the agoras have their own identity or theme and during the warm-up days you can experience different activities in the various agoras.

You will also find all the practical things such as toilettes, free luggage storages and charging stations in the agoras. Most of the agoras also have food stall and cooking areas where you can prepare your food on your own camping stove or the communal barbecue. All the agoras have their own service tower where the service guards keep an eye on the area and are ready to help out if you need anything.
