Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

This board is usually very silent in the winter months so perhaps you should bumb this thread again in a few months time.

I will probably stay at the GAT area as always (GAT Downtown to be precise) so if you stay there we could hook up.

So is it "bump" or "bomb"? I'm a bit worried if it's the latter.
But you're right, there's more activity on here as we get closer to the festival.

Remember there is the Strangers with Candy Camp annual Meat & Greet BBQ held the first Wednesday before the Festival for anyone. The Strangers with Candy Camp is also made up of essentially all strangers from different countries. But I am not sure how many people are in the group/camp now or if they have space, as I am not in charge of that. I will be throwing the BBQ though, and anyone is welcome to that.

Hey everybody,

I too would love to meet some people to camp with. I'm an 18-year-old guy (will be 19 in June) from the US, currently backpacking in India... But I will be in Europe this summer and I'm hoping to go to Roskilde. Might volunteer if I can, don't know if that makes a difference with the camping though...

Anyway, I'm very open minded and like to party, ya know, the usual icon_wink.gif I'm sure it won't be hard to meet people there from what I've heard about the vibes at Roskilde anyway! But I think the forums are also great and I love getting to know people here anywho! So let me know if you're interested icon_smile.gif
