I'm a first-timer at Roskilde and was planning on bringing a 3mx3m partytent (pavillion) to have over our tents for the sake of the shade, BUT is it allowed to have a couple of 'walls' on my partytent? Not tarp, but the actual 'tent-walls' you can buy to go with the partytent, that is.

You will probably be told to remove the walls.
I know for certain that you cannot put a tarp up over the tents. They say it's because of fire prevention, so I guess it's to make sure that the "orange guards" can see what everyone is doing. That way no one can make a campfire or something like that. 
Anyway, we usually have tarp over our pavillion and some of the tents but the last couple of years we've been told to remove it. That's why I think you may be told to remove the walls.

I contacted the officials and they said there are no rules against walls on the party tents, but that party tents aren't meant to be 'covering' the other tents..
