Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Halli Hallo everyone!!!
We need to buy a couple of tents and chairs, becuase it's very expensive to buy them here in Spain and bring them in our flight....
Do you know any extra-cheap shop there in Roskilde??? I've seen the prices in the festival.area and, I think, they are a bit too much...

Help!!!! icon_confused.gif

In 2007 when it was pouring down we went shopping for rain gear in Roskilde city. Less than 100m from the trainstation (north side of the tracks) was a little sports shop, bikes, clothes, fishing gear..I bet they had tents as well.
Chairs are sold at the camping site, but probably cheaper in Roskilde city as well. Just ask around if you arrive by train.

Here is a few links to places in Roskilde (down town) where you might find the cheapest festival gear.

http://rostorv.dk/ Shopping mall. Look for "Stadium".

Best of luck!

We already advised you on this before icon_biggrin.gif

As I recall I even gave complete directions on how to get from the airport to central station, and from central station to something called the Fisketorvet where there's a Silvan in the back of the that mall having everything you need at very low prices and in huge stock so they practically never run out.

Under the refund info it states that you will get money back if you have broken glass corresponding to 1 bottle, so I guess crushed cans are OK as well.

That's not entirely true. You only get full normal refund if it complys to the normal rules for refundable cans, ie. in it's orginal shape.

Crushed can you get DKK1 for 5 instead ... same as with foreign cans.

Well, that'd be great but that's not realistic. See the normal refunds the festival gets back but the foreign/smashed cans is entirely financed by the festival. They didn't actually have to give any for them if it wasn't for the fact that it's a good way to make sure they do get collected.

Make sure to get a pavillion were the metaltubes is connected with a plasic corner fitting!!! It´s icon_eek.gif WERY icon_eek.gif important for the endurance and stabillity of the pavillion.

the "wrong" kind lets the roof tubeing bend directly into the leg of the pavillion! Thats the week spot! If the tubes bend once, game over! banghead.gif

Indeed! We've been looking in for two days in several stores until we found the right one.
Another tip: lay out all the tubes on the ground and tape them together with a little piece of (Gaffa) tape before you assemble the whole thing.

Another tip is to make crossbrases in the corners of the pavillion!
We buy 3 each year, 2 pavillions for the partytent and the last is used for reenforcement.
We also lower the tent by digging 20-30cm under each leg, in the holes we pound in the legs from the 3erd pavillion. useing beefy 100kg kabelties, electricaltape and frictioncanvas to tie down the partytent is rocksolid!

Strong nylon ropes and metaltubeing for sticking it all to the ground!

When attaching the sides of the pavillion, use PVL 1,5mm kobberwire the solid core type, to make a cross on the in and outside, tie off the wire from bottom leg to it´s opposits top and vice versa, use a small piece of wire to tie off were the crosswires meet, stick the pavillion side between the wire crosses!

This way the winds power is transferred to the pavillions corners! The side don´t pull in the frame and isent flexing in the wind. when the sun shows it self, you can roll up the sides between the wires and catch them rays icon_cool.gif

This design passed the test in 07" We had dry grass in the tent ALL festival long! icon_biggrin.gif
