Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hello my dear fellow Roskilde-lovers,

I am soon leaving for Roskilde. However I do not have much time to figure everything out, because I have won tickets very very last minute (on Monday). So I have a few questions I am hoping you can answer soon, as I am leaving tomorrow night : )

We are arriving by plane at the Copenhagen airport.

FOODZ
- We would like to go to a cheap supermarket to pick up some water and some basic foods. Where do we find such a place? (some specific directions would be awesome)
- Also: how expensive is food at the camping/festival?
- Is there some kind of (sort of cheap or atleast reasonable) supermarket on the festival/camping grounds?

TRAVEL
- I have checked out Rejseplanen.dk, and gave in from Copenhagen Airport to Roskilde st. There seem to be two options:
* metro + train (either IC every hour, either train every 20 mins)
* train directly from airport (every hour)
--> Which would be the best option, also considering that we have to buy food/water somewhere in a store probably?

FESTIVAL
- We have a Get A Tent pass, how exactly do we get from the station to which entrance?

Many many thanks to anyone who answers even just 1 question! : )

Cheers from Belgium!

Congratulations on winning the tickets to the festival.

If you walk to the festival site you will pass a "Fakta" supermarket after 600 meters.
There is a Kvickly supermarket at the camping site at City Center East
Tap water in Denmark is drinkable an available at the camping site so don't haul to much water to the site.
Food at the festival are priced from around 45DKK and up for the hot meals.
There are public grills at each Agora where you can grill whatever food you have brought with you.

Either way works and the price is the same. If it's not too long a wait for the direct IC train you might want to wait for it.
At Roskilde station you have several possibilities. You can take the Shuttle bus to Camping East or walk the 2,3 Km to Entrance East
depending on if you want to to go a supermarket befoge going to the festival site.

The Get a tent Area it just a couple of 100 meters east of the Entrance East. See the map

Many many thanks to anyone who answers even just 1 question! : )

Thank you so much for your reply! icon_smile.gif Really helpful and saves me some stress.
I have one final question concerning the foodz though, is this Fakta supermarket a "normal" supermarket, meaning reasonably priced? Because I suspect this Kvickly supermarket will be more expensive as it is on the festival grounds..

Muchos gracias already!

Edit: had to edit because the quotes got all weird icon_razz.gif
