Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hi we are about 15-20 people trying to get a camp together. So Im wondering if P would be an easy choice? We all have East 1 as our Entrance, but then im wondering if there is a possibility to get a spot in L or N whiteout be like the first 50 in the line?

Thanks!

L and N gets massively packed really fast. You need a good spot in the queue to be able to ensure a place in one of those two agoras.

The distance prevents you from getting one of the best spots in P as well as you have to go around the service center first so South entrance is much closer.

So we could get a decent spot in P? I never visited P when i was there last year, kinda seemed like a dead end. by the map i would guess its a 10min walk from east entrance?
Or would trying to get to H or G be a good option?

Thanks

Does dream city take the whole H area? (=is it completely impossible to get a camping spot there?)

According to this map:

Dream City is not filling up H. It has been reduced greatly since last year!

At least all the marked squares on the map are also marked with poles and tape IRL, I was there yesterday.
But if all the squares have been spoken for is of course another issues. There was not much activity or construction already in place yesterday.

That is normal at this time of the year, since they need to cut the grass in the different areas. The Dream City is only just underneath Apollo area, it does not include all the H marked areas. It is just like last year it just a smaller area

As Martin said Dream City is all of H, but only the areas marked at dc.roskilde-festival.dk and the common areas are reserved. All other spots are free to camp on as usual.

Do note that the spots are only 400 m2 as opposed to most other areas which have 1000 m2 spots (and a few with 500 m2 spots).

Oh by the way, spots H101-H109 (more or less) will not be available for camping as this area is mostly sand and gravel, so it will be used for agora facilities instead like previous years. No service tower though.
