Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hello guys!! icon_lol.gif
I have booked "East 2" entrance booking and am headed for preferebly L or K camp. How early should I arrive at the entrance in order to get an adequate spot? We're approximately 10 people in my group.

And I've heard that bracelets can be bought in Tivoli before the RF, is this true? And does anyone have further information about this subject?

THANK YOU !! <3

So 10 people would mean 6-8 tents. If you are at East 2 and look to camp in L you probably should get in line before noon on sunday the 29th and be fit to run when the camping opens.
Have a back-up plan and head for P or G if it fills up too quickly.

Forget Tivoli, that was a one-time thing a couple of years ago and will hopefully NOT be repeated.
Bracelets will only be handed out at the festival.

Thank you for your reply!
It's actually just 3-4 big tents and a pavaillon... And are you sure it's not necessary waiting all night the 27th?
And I'm wondering, how do you get the wristband when you're in line? icon_smile.gif

There's no reason for you to queue up the 27th unless you literally don't have anywhere else to stay. I would think the morning of the 29th would be alright, but if you want to be sure show up during the Saturday. The queues open at 4 pm on Saturday.
But as Fredde said you need to make a plan. So the runners are able to get in a secure a spot.
The bracelets are handed out from 6 pm Sunday when the camping opens at the entrance.

No, the most part of people will arrive in line on sunday. My gang entered waiting area South around 14.00 last year, and it took us less than 20 minutes to get in after the camping opened.
You should at least have all tents gathered and make sure everyone gets in as a group. There will be lots of people everywhere and it's easy to lose someone!
1) You show your entrance booking and get into a designated waiting area. Stay fresh, don't party too hard. icon_smile.gif
2) At 18.00 on sunday the camping opens. For the access to go quickly for everyone you just show your ticket (and keep it!) and get a temporary wristband taped on your wrist.
3) When camp is set up, you can go back to Entrance East and exchange your ticket for a proper wristband. The lines will probably be very long, I have waited until morning the next day to get the wristband.

It's not. Instead of a 2 minute procedure getting the proper wristband it's a 5 second procedure which lets people get in much much faster.

Does anyone know if it will be possible to get wristbands by the train station?

Sorry to intervene on your thread Sigrið, but i found the question a bit relevant here, so this was easier than making another tread. Hope it's ok icon_smile.gif

You'll get temporary wristbands when the camping opens on sunday at 18.00 and the waiting areas are cleared. After that you can get your proper wristband at Entrance East, West or at the Festival Platform (train).

I'm gonna go ahead and hijack this thread too. If we are a camp of 18 people, is it crazy to come queue around 16-17 on saturday to get good spots at C? Also can you put your tent up in the waiting area? Some of my friends don't want to stay up all night because they're lame

C is very popular, can't really say which are "good spots", they're all pretty good and close to the festival entrance/city center. Camping B/C has plenty of room for the 17000 in the waiting areas. No, you can't put up your tent, so it will be a wet and cold night.
