Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Hello beautiful people!

I´ve searched the forum for information about camping area M and N but found none. Is it correct that they will be taken in the first hour since it´s located at the entrance?

Me and my friends will arrive at 16:00 sunday and have like 3+ tents.

Also wondering about camping area P. Any experiences you can share?
We in my crew would like it pretty free from mud and dirt but we would like to play music 24/7 so no Silent & Clean for us. It´s okay to walk a bit. So P is good that way?

Thanks a lot and looking forward to meeting ya´ll icon_biggrin.gif

M and N are usually part of the queue system and will thus only open after the initial queue is empty. That's the way it's been the past couple of years at least. Or something like that.

P fills up slower than the rest and you should be able to find a spot for a relatively small camp like yours. Even later in the week, so you should be fine as early as Sunday.

Actually, only the northern part of N is part of the queuing system (north of the treeline/road).
In the last years, this part was opened late in the evening (I think around 23:00) after hours of scraping off the trash with tractors. By that time, there was a huge crowd waiting, since this as probably the last chance to set up a decent camp.

The other part will actually fill up within minutes after the entrances open, the eastern part behind the power line maybe a few minutes later. If you want to set up a camp of several tents, you should be in the waiting line well before the opening time. When the festival opened at Saturday 6 pm, the lines started to fill seriously on Friday night around midnight.

N is moderately noisy and messy, more so in its western part (towards the festival area). Of course, this depends on your neighbours. In the northern part, you will have more walking traffic from the entrance. A big advantage is the (relative) vicinity to the paid parking lot.
