Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Any solutions for the tent? icon_smile.gif

was trying to see about a small portable fridge (for say 4-6 cans that we could just top up every time we took one out) but trying to find one that doesn't require mains power. Battery option would not last long from what I have read. Solar? although I would think that would be not powerful enough either.

Any recommendations as I hate warm beer!! icon_smile.gif

On another note, how far is it from the EAST campsite to places selling beer etc? (cold beer that is!!)

Thanks

Under ground is always an alternative. icon_smile.gif

Cold beers are never far away...Service Center East is your best bet, but there might be other mobile outlets as well.
I know I have bought just outside the entrance to Green (Arena) Stage, but don't know it that's a recurring thing.

Buy the beers from he service centers. Buy a case and share it. They are ice cold. Drink them before they get warm. Repeat until drunk. Take turns getting the next case.

Thanks guys!

I think I will pass on the ecool though!!!

As long as its not miles away to buy a case and if they are cold at the service centres then I am happy!

Looking forward to this. Not been in Denmark for a few years now and first time at a festival outside scotland

Cold beer by the 24pcs case will always be sold on the campsite. Last year prices were at 190Dkr or abt 20GBP. Of course you will find cheaper beer off camping, but then there's the factor of transporting it, by bus, train or walking!

Start out by taking on this offer before it runs out!

Ha! already pre-booked that! I wasn't sure whether to book more so only booked one to see how it went on the first day(I thought there may be somewhere close by to our tent that sold beer so that's the reason we only booked one lot.

Thanks!!

That depends on where you pitch your tent. icon_smile.gif But regardless, no further than 15min walk to SC east/west from anywhere on the campsite.

You can always use the good olde sock trick!
Just drench a sock in water and put the beer in it, and it will cool when the water evaporates.

I remember buying beer a short walk south from gate 52 on the map. It was a little shop so you could get other stuff as well. I can't recall whether they were cold or not, but I think it's possible to buy bags of ice in the on-site shop. I vaguely remember a burger joint there too.

Jim, I believe Irma have those Walkers you're talking about. At least I think they used to.
