Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Can the festival organisers confirm that, at the moment they get even the slightest whiff of people struggling to find a decent sized camping space for all their friends to build a nice camp WITH pavillion, they'll open P? I can see what you're trying to do... less visitors = less camping space. But I can still see people having difficulty even on the first day. The scheme looks correct on paper, but I think losing that space is a huge mistake and will make things more difficult. I'm sure there'll be little spaces here and there, but we're arriving at lunchtime and the experience will be ruined if we have to camp in different places and I've got to have a pavillion too due to the heat.

(Sorry to start a new topic when this has been discussed elsewhere, but I won't remember where I posted it otherwise).

I just hope they sell enough tickets to be able to open P which i think is a very nice place to set camp! Its easy to chill, there is room to do things like play football on the grass, and at roskilde there still is enough partying everywhere! Me and my friends were planning on camping at P this year, i just hope we will be able to..

Me too. Not so much for the P camping spot personally, but I would prefer a sold out festival due to it's amazing program this year, and of course to ensure as much money to the festival, so next year will be as good as this one. Heh.

I know it has, but I'm still worried that they'll hold fire on opening it for as long as possible and we won't find space for a large camp.

I`m hoping that they will have P open and ready at the start of the festival, so all of us who want to stay there can just go at once

I hope so too, I wouldn't mind camping there. We camped there in '07 and it had quite a good atmosphere. Except for some dick head opening one of our tents and stealing beer.

Hey...

Area P will only open if we get close to selling all of the tickets.

So come on, get friends and all your network to join Roskilde festival...

And what exactly is "close to selling out".. P is a huge area, and as mentioned a very good area for those who comes a little later, og just want a lot of space to setup their camp.
