Meridian Brothers is the weirdest shit I´ve heard in a while (and I saw Swans yesterday). Great stuff. Desert blues is always good so I think I´ll see Bombino too. Kottarashky is ok, could be more festive to get my feet going. I have only listened half a song of Hoba Hoba Spirit, nothing special ther, think I´ll skip this one but have to listen more before I´ll make up my mind.

Guess i'm gonna see my very first "world music-act" with Bombino! The closest thing I've ever come to this is Femi Kuti in Stockholm, so I'm excited

Right now I´m Listening to the tracks that there is added to the Roskilde 2013 list on Spotify and i actually like Hoba Hoba Spirit.
It reminds me of some good old fashion rock n´ roll.

World music is a fucking stupid term!
- but it's also the "genre" that can take me most by suprise. Mainly because it's so fucking diverse (and a stupid stupid stupid!! term) and different from the poorly-produced-white-garage-I-don't-want-to-the-discuss-the-term-indie-again-rock that I usually hear
...I mean that I will check these names out (thank you Spotify), and that world music is a stupid term.

Yeah I'm totally with you on this one but what could be another word, none of these acts sounds alike but are labelled as the same.
But I'll admit that I use the term, the same can be said about Indie.

I have a strong feeling you're gonna see Goat too this year. A VERY strong feeling.
But yeah, Bombino sounds very exciting, definitely worth checking out

I don't know about Goat. There's this dude that's definitely gonna show up at that concert, and he just bugs me the wrong way..
And I bet someone told you about Bombino at around 19:33 last night, and told you something about how this desert blues-guy is like Jimi Hendrix, if he was raised in the deserts of Niger. Everyone has this one wonderful friend who always tells those kind of things, because his awesome! And because he cares <3

We all have that one friend, fortunately!
But back on topic, it's always great with some quality World-names, i.e. Femi Kuti as you said yourself. I would like to see some more Funk as well - and just as Reggae is "World" according to Roskilde, I'm guessing Funk is as well. Jamiroquai to name one.
Otherwise, just book Atoms For Peace and let Flea do a nice, little back-to-bass solo
