Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

So, what's the general consensus here? Will it be jam f'in packed or will it be an easygoing, quiet Arena show, well-visited but not overcrowded?

I can't figure it out, because on one hand, he is the only headliner this year to play the Arena stage, and there's barely anything else playing at the same time (except that all of the metallers are going nuts with Deftones, Corrections House and The Ocean elsewhere on the site), but on the other, he was by far the least well-received out of all the announced headliners.

He barely broke 650 likes, when the news item was posted on Facebook. Contrast that to Outkast's massive 8.500 likes, Stones' 11.000 likes, Trentemøller's 2.800 likes and, I can't remember how many Major Lazer got, but it was more than Trentemøller...

Even Hymns from Nineveh had more likes thrown after him, when he was announced.

So what will it be? I'm curious because I really want to catch both mr. Albarn and Deftones!

My initial thought was that I must see Damon Albarn, since I have seen both Blur and gorillaz on Roskilde and liked it. But I really want to see Deftones and Damons solomusic doesn't sound that interesting (he might also play something from his former two bands), so I don't expect to see Albarn.
But I never understood the idea with headliners playing Arena. A headliner should play orange, or it shouldn't be a headliner. This year it doesn't clash with another headiner, but the idea is the same. If you can't pla Orange, then you are not a headliner.

I´m afraid it will be packed, since there´s nothing else on at the same time. Don´t mind that much, I can listen to him outside the tent if that´s the case.

Yes that probably has been a tough one for the organizers.
Think Arena with area outside Can take 30.000 - 35.000 people. The same amount at orange would look a little empty. I Think they did right - but we Will see.
I remember that Alanis Morrisette played Arena once. Huge mistake - 50.000+ showed up and no one had a Good time.
Think Albarns new album is great, but I would prefer to listen to the show from "the two lakes" beside the tent.
I usualy get pain in my back after too many standing up concerts during the festival - so I look forward to lying down with a cold one and mr. Albarn in my ears.
...and better with a crowded Arena than a empty Orange.
