Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

the sound was really bad. lots of stuff i didn't hear. especially the questions. kind of hard to follow the answers if you don't know what the question is.

what i got out of it:
*world music dude goes around the world making friends and booking world music acts (he must like it in mali, because they are usually represented)
*they choose to sometimes use "just played" as an excuse for not booking a band, but go out booking other bands who have just played.
*when asked who is i.e. hip hop headliner that was "up to the audience". i wonder why not all the names are in the same print, if that's the way to answer it instead of fessing up and saying "i'm proud of douchenozzle swagman"
*rikke would be a pretty good politician, usually never answering the actual question
*they bookers don't really care about punk so they pick up a pitchfork
*the national are only headlining because they are bigger than the last times they played.

what did you guys get out of the Q&A, and did i get anything wrong?

*they bookers don't really care about punk so they pick up a pitchfork
- That was not what she said - she just said that pitchfork have started to like punk and that it does not make the punk act bad just becoures pitchfork also like it.

*the national are only headlining because they are bigger than the last times they played.
- Come on hed... try a smile - she said much more then that.. dont be a hater.

*rikke would be a pretty good politician, usually never answering the actual question
- What did you expect? It is her job to sell the festival, so even if she agrees about missing X & Y she can´t say that, she have to sell the line up

But yes the sound was a big problem icon_frown.gif

*the national: yes she spoke more about them, but they still aren't a headliner sized band. not into the band and don't like or dislike them. they're just not that big.

*punk: if your bookings in a genre are very similar to what someone who just started getting into the genre would be, i will still claim that you should broaden your horizons within the genre instead of concluding that you just happen to have the same great taste.

It is not like it is the first time Roskilde is booking a punk name.. like best show of 2012 Refused

And Mastodon, Bon Iver, Mew, PJ Harvey ect. are also smaller headliners, but that is very normal.

The National is getting bigger and bigger and got a great Roskilde histoire, so can´t see the problem(And I dont like them, I will not be at the show)
