  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.

I would be very surprised if Baauer, Simian Mobile Disco and Disclosure ended up playing Apollo; Cosmopol or even Arena would be much more likely. Otherwise a pretty solid list!

Modeselektor played Apollo Last Year and I´m thinking that they are way bigger than any of these 3 names.

I Saw SMD at Balaton Sound 2 years ago and they played at the 3rd largest stage at a niche festival with mostly electronic acts so why should they be at the second biggest stage at one of the largest festival of the world.

The Harlem Shake craze is hopefully over when we hit Roskilde and Disclosure can not fill Arena with only one minor P3 hit.

And besides Arena already has Crystal Castles and perhaps something more announced later.

And don´t forget that Apollo and Cosmopol has roughly the same size (5.000-6.000) so it not for capacity reasons Roskilde would move one acts from one stage to another.

I think the profile of Cosmopol is now more towards the Urban and World music genres and thats also the reason why i have added C2C and Chinese Man to Cosmopol.

Solid list for the schedule so far, adding the four new world acts to cosmopol. Agree with you on the Apollo thingy, SMD disclosure and Baauer will all play Apollo, no doubt about that.

C2C at Cosmopol is a bad idea, but is probably gonna happen. They're in high rotation on P3 and was announced as one of the first names, so a lot of people have gotten a chance to get to know them. And after seeing LCD Soundsystem, OFWGKTA and Chase & Status with far to many other people at Cosmopol, I will not applaud this!

Ásgeir Trausti could be a possibility for Gloria.

I really have no idea how big they are, but I always thought they would play Arena.

I only know them because they are announced for Roskilde icon_biggrin.gif

They have a high billing on the French/Belgium festivals but I guessed that I it was because they where French, so maybe I have to move them around but I will wait and see what the next few announcements will bring before doing that.

They'd definitely be too big for Cosmopol, but might not be popular enough for Arena - something inbetween, unfortunately. They have gathered a rather large fan-base in Denmark I'm sure, as I've not only heard it being played on (as previously mentioned by I Like Turtles) P3, but also random places, on bars, at friends', etc.

I also hope that Odeon is space enough for the Lumineers who's had plenty air-time on P3 as well. At the Reading Festival they're playing the main stage, but then again I'm not sure just how much of a crowd they've gathered in DK in comparison to the UK. I just don't want it to be like the Tallest Man on Earth in 2011

The Lumineers will probably get Odeon, yes, but I still think that C2C should get a bigger scene than Cosmopol

Or even worse, Astoria during Fedde Le Grand in 2007 or 8, but it was lucky that the show was stopped because the Streets kicked some serious ass on the Orange stage instead.

Around 2-3 weeks before, I remember that they a few years ago was so late with the schedule that they didn't have the time to print it together with the handbook so it was handed out in a folder instead.

One interesting note is that with around 134 names left to be revealed they have to found 37 up and coming artists/bands and 97 more established artists/bands.

Just a few thoughts:

Disclosure are becoming really big, I would imagine they'll play a bigger stage.

Hatebreed on Arena rather than Odeon?

It's not beyond the realms of possibility that Crystal Castles would play Orange. Don't get me wrong, they're definitely better in a tent stage, but they've been playing the main stage at most festivals of late, largely due to their popularity.

So should both Hatebreed and Dillinger Escape Plan be at Arena or should I switch them around, I'll admit that metal is not my strong side.

And the same can be asked about Disclosure and C2C, but I'll will wait with them until we have some more names on the poster because I think I have these to at the right place.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see When Saints Go Machine hitting Orange again, considering they've played it before. Although I do admit an Arena-show would be much more suitable...

And change of subject: Who do you guys think will open Orange stage this year? My best guess from the already announced acts would be Efterklang, but what do you guys think?

2013 will be Efterklangs 4th appearance at Roskilde, so I think they are too established to be an Orange stage opener.

My guess is that it's time to have a rock band opening the stage again, and from the bands announced Kvelertak seems to be the most obvious choice then.

I updated the list with todays announcements.

The announcement today talked about pavillion Junior names (perhaps only the two selected by the audience) but Compadre is clearly a Apollo Countdown name so i have added them for that stage.

You can add Pää Kii to Pavillion jr. I don´t know if K-X-P will play Pavillion jr. or Apollo Countdown, they have live bass and drums, but all-in-all it´s an electronic band.
