Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

If you guys are right, I'll be visiting Orange twice this year. That's a new low for me, even though I regard this the best line-up in a decade.

Same for me too. It´s the "if nothing else is on"-stage this year. Not sure if this is the best line-up in decade, though. Ok for a Roskilde line-up, I´d say (and I do regard Roskilde line-up usually/always the very best...).

Regarding Saturday, wouldn't it be more likely for Sigur Ros to play Arena?

18:00 Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
21:30 The National
01:00 Rihanna with Sigur Ros playing Arena at the same time

Sigur Ros has already played Arena twice. Maybe they are too big for that again.

You might have a point. It would be a shame if The National didn't get to play in the dark though

Well, it's always a shame to watch your must see acts early in the day. But someone's gotta play those slots, and I see The National as a 19:00 act on Orange.

Just read an article with The National in GAFFA, where they talk about playing at Roskilde this summer and they say that their only demand was not to play the same day as Rihanna because superstars like her, would make the backstage area weird.

So maybe it will be something like this:

19:00 - Black Rebel Motorcyle Club
22:00 - The National
01:00 - Sigur Ros

And then Rihanna would play Friday at 01:00 instead?

I think Andy Stott will play Gloria and not Apollo, so will Laurel Halo. Dead Fader will most likely play Apollo but maybe Gloria.

It gets kinda weird now.. Because the 01:00 slot on friday is now reserved for Chase & Status..

Maybe Roskilde decided that it was actually The National that made the backstage area weird and decided to put them on the same day as Rihanna.

Volbeat at a 19:00-spot? Do you really think so? And also, why are you so certain that Sigur Ros are playing at night?

On their last tour, Sigur Rós had it written in their contract that they would only play night-time slots. Their show is kind of dependent on darkness, what with their lightbulbs on stage and all. Can also assure you that they'll play Arena, but I can't say why yet.

So who do you think will take the Orange spot instead, if Sigur Ros is not one of them.

We need a Thursday night-spot as well. I have a feeling that 19:00 is too early for Volbeat. Also, I think we will get another Friday or Saturday @ 22:00 headliner. Rihanna might get Friday at 01:00, C&S Saturday at 01:00 at Volbeat moved to Friday at 22:00 or a new headliner at that time slot.

There's no way Rihanna won't be a Friday or Saturday closer. If anything, Chase and Status would be warm-up.

Likewise, there's no way Sigur Ros will be a closer. Half the audience would be asleep before the end of the show.

I would guess Chase & Status gets the last spot - like in '11 where it was Strokes-->Deadmau5

Do we even know Rihanna is playing Friday? I find it more likely she'll be playing as closing act Saturday instead.

We don't, but The National has stated explicitly that they wanted to play another day than Rihanna because of "backstage weirdness". And they're playing Saturday, so...

I doubt that matters too much what a band feels like. The National is probably playing a 19:00 slot so they'll not even be around at the same time.

Pretty solid guess TBH. Sunday 20.00 could also be The XX or James Blake (Rikke said in an interview they were considering putting him on Orange)... Still hoping for Rammstein though!!!

Rikke said in an interview after the posterreease, when asked about Rammstein would come this year, that their stage setup was to big to fit on the orange stage. So you shouldn't expect them, but I would really have liked to seem them also.
