Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

An astonishing announcement, at least for me icon_biggrin.gif

Now, the roskilde people need to understand that Wooden Shjips should play late at night, then it will be magic.

I guess those who haven't heard them before already checked out their myspace.

The thing with this band is that all their songs nearly sounds the same. So if you like one you like them all I guess. There's only small variations in their pefectly executed psych-rock.

Live they crank up the volume and just bring you a massive wall of sound for an hour. Really great the two times I've seen them. So if your want som cool rock music I highly recommend them.

Deleted user I love it, but at the same time I'm confused about RF's booking policies. If they can book psy-rock then I should think it would be ok to book something like Shpongle (and Infected Mushroom) as well. Let's face it, something that sounds like the Doors is at least equally likely to attract drugs than something as eclectic (and amazing) as psychedelic uh.... how would you categorize Shpongle anyway?!

Nice booking though, I hope it marks a turning point for RF, and that we'll see a lot more truly psychedelic stuff in the future.

I put Infected Mushroom in brackets because I have to be honest, there were a lot of people on drugs last time I saw them. Shpongle thread anyone?

Deleted user Judging from their Myspace playlist it's very krautrock inspired, sounds pretty interesting! If the time of their performance doesn't collide with a more interesting artist's playing time I'll be sure to check them out.

To be honest, I was expecting The Flaming Lips when they said they were going to announce a psychedelic rock band.
