Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

wow ac/dc, naming radiohead as a worst gig, you managed to put yourself down another level, something i didn't think possible.

I think Radiohead was good in 90 s, but now i just don t like them because it is different music now they are playing, i really want to see Radiohead they made a good rock n roll

If I may, I saw Radiohead a couple of years ago (in 0icon_cool.gif and I think were extremely boring! Yeah the music is good and they had a nice light show but they just didn't do it for me. So it's not the most incomprehenisble thing in the world to list Radiohead as a worst gig...

I think Dinsaur Jr. And Todd Rundgren are great icon_smile.gif but note the gigs i saw. Dinosaur Jr. seemed apathetic. Todd Rundgren was just playing his new album and only two or three old songs. Everyone can have a bad day, so I hope they are better if I Decide to see them again icon_smile.gif

I've rated all the concerts I've been to, so this should easy... except I got more than 10 of the 6 stars ratings...

The first four I actually rated 7 stars, because they blew the scale.

The very best
Bon Jovi (with Van Halen as support) - Weser Stadium, Bremen - 1995
Roger Waters - Orange Stage, Roskilde - 2006
Bruce Springsteen & The Seeger Session Band - Parken, Cph - 2006
Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band - Parken, Cph - 2008

Best of the rest - but really hard to choose
Extreme - Saga, Cph - 1991
Skid Row - KB Hallen, Cph - 1991
Garth Brooks - Valby Hallen, Cph - 1994
Black Sabbath - Orange Stage, Roskilde - 2005
AC/DC - Westfalenhallen, Dortmund - 2009
Faith No More - Orange Stage, Roskilde - 2009

The worst
Westlife - Forum, Cph - 2004
Shu-Bi-Dua - Vig Festival - 2005

and the best roskilde gig i haven't been to: the dream syndicate at orange in 1986. the cult cancelled and they were flown in from italy. of course i was only 5 and probably watching bamse & kylling at the time of the gig, but judging by the bootleg it was great!

I can only second that - and I was there (Roskilde Newbie) for the Cult, so being disappointed first - but if my memory serves me well Dream Syndicate was fantastic (so we forgot it was raining cats and dog). "Crazy audience" you may hear in the bootleg - my buddy and I were part of it icon_biggrin.gif

Radiohead is so boring live. Thom Yorke look like that he is sleeping while when he is singing sorry to say this but this is true. I want to see bands that give awesome performance and not sleeping on the stage while they are playing
