Quick guide for the search

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Detachable flag/pole?

In previous years my camp has had a basic flagpole attached to our pavilion. This year we'd like to change it so we can also bring it to the Orange Stage to help our friends find us. Our flag is also much bigger than before, so I think the basic tentpole solution is not going to hold it due to its weight, at least not if we aim to have it flying high up both on the campsite and on the festival area icon_cool.gif.

Any tips & tricks on how to make this work would be much appreciated! Both in terms of materials/equipment needed (links would be even better!) and recommendations on how to build it et cetera.

Needs:
Flagpole system that is as tall as possible that is easy to attach/detach to the pavilions for the music days

Thanks! Some good tips in there for diverse setups, very useful!

However, what about in terms of a simple attach/detach mechanism? The idea this year is NOT to have the flag permanently attached to our camp/pavilions, and be able to take it with us for the music days to the festival area, and return it safely and sturdily (read: ability to take in the Danish wind) to the pavilions late night?

reading the thread I notised some talk of fishingrods, they are foldable, to a degree, right. It takes some cooperation in a group to keep it together, taking turns carrying the pole and so. depending on how much you want it. If you can find the good compromise, you`ll have fun.
