Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Looks like tickets booths at entrance east will be on the north side of the road.
So the entire area south of the road, N30's/N40's, will be waiting area?

Status Wednesday at 20.00:

There are a handfull of tents outside the Waiting area at the Eastern entrance.

It will be interresting to see how this is handled at 8 AM on saturday:

From facebook:
Roskilde Festival
@ Silke -> Then we will advise a place for you to stay, but we will not let you get in line in front of the waiting area.As mentioned above we have stated that the waiting area opens 8.00 saturday morning and we do not believe that it implies an extra waiting area outside the waiting area. You will be able to get in on equal terms with the people who gets to Roskilde when the waiting area opens.

I hope the fence stays up until 18pm.

I have a really hard time grasping why the fuck people MUST come so early.

This really bugs me. People arriving this early is "forcing" the festival to start earlier and earlier.

Yes, and it is really annoying icon_evil.gif
It´s like they are having a competition.
We will arrive around 16:30-17:00, and I trust the festival this year. The fence have to stay up until 18:00, sharp!

In picture 15/18 they mention that some people have been waiting infront of the entrace since Monday. Fortunatly all the tents I saw on Wednesday are gone.

Oh piss off you idiots!! You're not wanted until the festival opens! Go home! Fucking tossers...

I'd definitely get straight onto the police and even have them arrested and removed.

Does anyone know how it looks like right now in front of the entrances? Is there any people out there?

Entrnace East at 4:30 PM looked nice and calm:

http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/2117/dscn3841c.th.jpg

And not quite as many at Entrance West at 5 PM:

http://img683.imageshack.us/img683/9291/dscn3842bz.th.jpg

http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/8784/dscn3844.th.jpg

http://img199.imageshack.us/img199/5929/dscn3845k.th.jpg

And I guess there's arriving about 10-15 people per hour at the moment, so it doesn't seem that people are showing up early in generel.

Yes??

It says that anyone is free to gather up, as long as the public peace is not in any danger??

And when 500 people just sit, and drink beer I don't see how this would be an issue? But maybe you can explain it for me?

I think the unwritten rule of 'fuck off you stupid pricks, the festival doesn't start for ages yet and you're being complete twats' applies.

Seriously, just fuck off and come back when the festival starts!! It's 8 days long, is that not enough?

The fences are down - confirmed by RF on FB. FFS, how hard is it to calm the fuck down and just enjoy that it's not raining and that one of the greatest experiences of the summer is about to begin.
