Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Is this your (layman's) prediction or based on an actual, very early forecast? In the case of the latter, I'd like to see a source.

Sorry about that but there's just not any sign that we'll have hot and sunny weather as we've had the last 4 years. Well, last wasn't that hot compared to the 3 years before. But it very much looks like what we had from 2001 to 2003 for the old farts among us who can remember that. Typical early Danish summer weather.

The early predictions I have seen predicted a warmer than usual summer but it has nothing to do with it being rainy of shiny weather.

First time I read that I immediately though: "brave lad". But that was because I misread it as you promised weather that was hotter than she was which is not something I'd tell my GF, that's for sure.

With the solar storm and the unusual number of sun spots, 2012 will indeed be overall warmer than the last couple of years. If this will influence the weather in Denmark at the time around Roskilde, only time will tell. The sudden summer the last couple of days sure had pretty much every weatherman fooled.

Very good and very very bad news.

So says TV2 Weather
It could not sound better - there is a prospect of more beach days, several evenings where you can grill and more summer days than usual. TV2 is forecasting an average temperature of 16.4, which is significantly above normal.

TV2 will primarily their weather data from the U.S..

So says DMI
We get "a capricious summer precipitation over climate normalized lens 188 mm for June, July and august" - ie. a wet summer. Last year in 2011, it was an impressive 321 millimeters. It was thus the next most wettest summer weather in Danish history.

The temperatures to be lower on the average 15.2 ° C. Periods of beach weather can not be ruled out, but nobody can say anything about where and when they come.
DMI will mainly their data from a weather center in Redding.

First official forecast...not that it isnt a guess from their side, but anyway its the first "serious" bet on the first days weather. Looks pretty good...

Still too early to make any real predictions but, for some reason, the weather in Denmark usually shifts around Sankt Hans (Danish holiday) so the weather we have now can continue a few weeks more for all I care.

No. It says cloudy with occasional showers. Mild, not warm. And light wind.

You really need to read the symbols, and see how much rain in mm is predicted.

I'll reiterate my month old prediction icon_biggrin.gif

"Some rain", it's only 1 or 2 millimeters.

A couple weeks ago the 25 day forecast on Accuweather said rain every day of the festival. Now it says mostly dry weather with the occasional light showers one or two days. It's getting better.

Keep believing in a sunny (or at least dry) RF 12! icon_cool.gif

A little rain is nice though. Looks ok in my mind, although it I'd prefer it slightly warmer than the predicted 18-20 degrees highs. But at least it's mild nights so I won't be so bloody cold, and it's better that temperatures is below 20 degrees than above 25 degrees in general.

Well I actually like to go around with very little clothing on, so I prefer i around 25 degrees. But Cosmopol can turn into hell if it's hot!! anybody attended the LCD Soundsystem show in '10? or OFWGKTA last year - a lot of fainting happened through these shows! icon_eek.gif

Unless I'm mistaken it looks good because the darkest colours is the one with most chance of realisation and a few mm is hardly noticeable.

If you look at the Accuweater forecast it looks almost the same but with lesser rain.

Yeah looks fine to me. As long as the rain isn't unbearable and the whole camping site becomes Mud Hell I'm fine. and temperatures around 20 degrees suit me and my Icelandic body nicely, not much warmer please! icon_razz.gif
