Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Yes, and this week appears to be changing between cloudy and sunny if DMI are to be trusted.
I wouldn't mind this type of weather for Roskilde. Just a couple more degrees and it would be perfect.

Probably not very accurate, but Accuweather has their first forecast for the festival days up here. Looks great so far.

Well, the last week or so high pressure has dominated over Denmanrk with lots of sunny weather as a result and the forecast for the next 7 days looks awesome to say the least. I just wonder how long it will last since we havnt had a rainy Roskilde since 2007. Statistically its about time we had shit weather again at the festival but the last 5 years have all been great.

The weather was great in 2010 - there's been rain the past two years, and although not much, it has been enough to make the camping site muddy and too wet for my taste. I'm hoping for 20-22 degrees and less than 15 mm rain total.

This is statistics on rain, only during the festival days unfortunately.
Note 44mm on thursday 2007, and it was already a muddy mess before that. I think 2007 got a total over 100mm.
Saturday 2011 was that bad thunderstorm that flooded Copenhagen and surrounding areas.

2003 was semi-bad, but as you see, no rain fell during the festival days.
1991 and 1997 has also been classic mud years.

What are you talking about? The few drops we had the last two years were a welcome refreshening for most of us and we got far less than 15 mm rain.
I am talking about shit weather as we had in 1997, 2004 and 2007. Now Those were muddy!

Lets get this started again. The weather people are starting to predict the weather for the festival, so why shouldn't we? icon_smile.gif

Doesn't look too bad. Light drissle and temperatures around 20.

I trust accuweather predictions about as much as I trust a lactose intolerant cheese muncher not to break wind.

DMI has a completely different prediction

http://servlet.dmi.dk/byvejr/servlet/byvejr?region=7&tabel=dag7_15

So far, I trust my own more than either of the two (although DMI is pretty close to my prediction made on May 20th in this thread).

Bongo: Note that the difference between "byvejr" and "regionalsudsigt" is that the "byvejr" is a pure computer simulation, whereas the "regionalsudsigt" is manually adjusted by DMI to account for know local abnormalities.

But yeah, it'll cycle back and forth like mad in the next 10 days (only ten icon_smile.gif) remaining until the festival starts.

I disagree. They always fall on the side they think will sell the most "tickets" so to speak. So they're positive about getting Sun but if some storm is coming they'll do anything to exaggerate that as well.

I thought at first that your weather forecast was just a Byvejr from Copenhagen, it helps to read it all first before posting. icon_biggrin.gif
