Quick guide for the search
X

  • Wildcard-Search
With the help of a so-called wildcard you can look for several search words, which have the same word beginning. If you search e.g. for "Typo*", the search will find everything that begins with "Typo" : Typo3, Typoscript, Typocode, Typo3user... etc.
  • Negative search
If you do not want to find certain expressions in your search result, you can cause this with placing a hyphen in front. Terms containing this phrase are excluded from the search result.
  • Search for user
It is possible to limit the search result on answers of certain users. In addition to the retrieval query attach still another "user:username" and find the results, which were written by this certain user. If the username could not be found this will be ignored.

Whether it's rain, snow, wind, hail, sun or clouds, I just know I will be very excited to be in line on sunday.

When I looked this morning the prediction was rather wet to say the least but now it looks dry and sunny. Oh well, I guess when I check again it will say rain all days.

Three quite different predictions, but I will be pessimistic, and guess that we will have a bit rainy, and not so warm festival. Danish weather 2014 in a nutshell.

And here is another one. Its probably a good idea to bring a rain coat if you intend on staying the whole festival. The weather will probably be more stable thursday-sunday next week.

When looking at DMIs predictions, remember to use "Usikkerhed på nedbør" (Uncertainty on precitipation). Then you can see that their actual prediction is quite low on rain as well. But it looks like we'll get some showers at least.

Going some pages back in this thread, we can actually see forecasts for last years festival being unpredictable and ever changing until just a few days before the festival. In fact, a cloudy and somewhat cooler festival was bering forecasted until just a few days before.

So let's just keep calm, bring the boots, expect a wet night in the waiting area and hope for a wonderful, sunny and warm festival the following week. Otherwise... we'll always have the beer and Major Lazer!

As always the forecast for next week will change everyday until Saturday. From then on it will continue to change every hour, just for laughs. No one will have a clue until the weather is basically there, so I recommend you pack your raincoats, wellies, Hawaii shirts, flip flops, scarves, woolly hats and space suits, just to be on the safe side.
No matter what it will be a blast anyway. Maybe as long as it's not torrential out there.

I both love and hate this topic. Don't know why I bother so much about the weather. Maybe its 2007 that is haunting me... Lets pray for the sun.

BUT! I had a smashing time in 07 aswell!

I think 07 has made all of us that was there extra aware of the festival weather. We know exactly how muddy and flooded it can get. icon_razz.gif

The predictions look less and less wet. Just a bit more sun, and it looks like the perfect festival weather right now.

A good thing with the rain (at least during the coming weekend)is that there will be less people in the queues. icon_rolleyes.gif

I like that it looks like it will rain Saturday. Hopefully that will keep some people away from queuing early.
